Grooved Director & Tongue Tie - Probe Point stainless steel, probe point Grooved Director and Tongue Tie is a stainless steel instrument that contains a probe point on one end typically used to examine the mouth in young children. The other end consists of a flat butterfly-shaped end. In frenotomy procedures that require stabilizing the tongue, the grooved director can assist in this process and provide a better view for the surgeon. Different sizes are available to accommodate different cases.

Suction Tube 9" (22.9 cm) overall length Andrews-Pynchon Suction Tube is designed with a tapered handle to create a comfortable and secure grip when held. The suction tube itself is slightly curved and contains either a removable tip or a removable shaft to assist with different suction processes throughout a surgical procedure. This 9" long instrument is ideal for removing fluid or blood that may interfere with the operating area.

Tongue Tie - Plain Point stainless steel, plain point Grooved Director and Tongue Tie contains a plain point at one end and a butterfly-shaped director on the other end. This stainless steel instrument is typically used during a frenotomy to lift the tongue back and expose the frenulum. The frenulum would rest on the grooved part of the director and then be cut with iris scissors. Depending on the patient, this device is offered in various lengths.
