Sims Rectal Speculum is ideal for investigating the lower rectum and anus. The instrument features two hinged fenestrated blades that can be opened by spring handles. A screw mechanism can then be used to lock the blades at the open position once in the rectum.

The ligator features an offset handle for easier navigation and use within the rectum. The loading cone is inserted into the ligating drum of the ligator for placement of the O-ring around the neck of the hemorrhoid.
