Castaneda Suture Tag Forceps may assist in the removal of sutures during general surgical procedures. During this process, the forceps can be held by one hand to elevate the tag over the suture and uncover the loop. The surgeon then uses his/her other hand to cut the suture with scissors. The jaws are smooth, straight, and numbered for identification, and the 3 ¾” overall length makes it easier to maneuver.
